PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan device with reduced noise, for generating high-flow-rate gas. SOLUTION: A casing 12 has a recess part 17 which is formed to a slant face 15 for expanding a channel S toward the outside of the casing 12. An air flow rate flowing in the casing 12 and flowing out of the casing 12 can be increased, for example, when blade members are rotated. Further, the air is flowed in the recess part 17 to suppress separation of the air and prevent generation of a swirl. Even if a turbulent flow or the like caused by the swirl generates, the noise generated from the turbulent flow is resonated with and absorbed in the air in the recess part 17.
