PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device capable of improving durability of a shutter curtain, by reducing a load of the slip-out preventive member peripheral edge of the shutter curtain due to tight winding in winding. SOLUTION: This shutter device moves this shutter curtain along a guide rail by winding the shutter curtain 2 by rotating a winding shaft 3 by movably fitting a plurality of slip-out preventive bolts (a slip-out preventive member) 6 installed on both edges in the width direction of the shutter curtain 2 in a guide rail. The winding shaft 3 is composed of a polyhedral column member of a cross-sectional substantially polygonal shape. When winding the shutter curtain 2, an installation pitch of the slip-out preventive bolts 6 is set so that the slip-out preventive bolts 6 are not positioned at the corner part apex in a cross section of the winding shaft 3.
