<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording body which can easily obtain a uniform thermal recording layer and is excellent in the quality of recording. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording body comprises the thermal recording layer comprising a leuco dye, a color developing agent and an adhesive, and a protective layer successively on at least one face of a transparent substrate. A thermal gelating agent with a gelation temperature of 50-70°C comprising a polymer of an alkylene oxide adduct of a cyclic organic compound containing nitrogen in a ring, and an acrylate monomer, of 1-15 mass% to the whole solid amount of the thermal recording layer is incorporated into the thermal recording layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
