<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag system for a vehicle capable of safely and certainly protecting the occupant when the vehicle goes in collision certainly not only at the time of primary collision but also at the secondary collision. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag system for the vehicle to protect the occupant by filling a bag with gas when the vehicle goes in collision and inflating it for absorption of the shock with the bag is equipped with a primary collision sensing part to sense the primary collision of the vehicle and a secondary collision sensing part to sense the secondary collision, wherein one airbag device is furnished with two bags, and is provided with an inflator to fill one bag with the gas and an inflator to fill the other bag with the gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
