ELLIPSOIDAL ORGANIC POLYMER PARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ellipsoidal organic polymer particles having high aspect ratio and capable of improving optical properties such as light scattering property and light-collecting property and frictional properties such as sliding property. SOLUTION: The ellipsoidal organic polymer particles has one continuous curved surface and has an ionic functional group. In the polymer particles, the aspect ratio (P1) [long diameter (L1)/short diameter (D1)] calculated from a long diameter (L1) and a short diameter (D1) of a project two-dimensional figure obtained by irradiating light from a direction perpendicular to long axis direction of particles satisfies the formula (P1)≥1.8.
