PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel that has excellent slippage, good drawability, high dimensional stability, excellent durability and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: In the mandrel 1 that supports the rubber hose 6 from inner face and decide the inner diameter of the rubber hose, when rubber hose is produced, at least the surface part of the mandrel 1 is formed with the rubber composition that comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of ethylene-α-olefin-VNB copolymer in which the content of 5-vinyl-2-norbornene (VNB) is 1 to 10 % wt. and the ethylene content is 60 to 80 mol% and (B) 0.5 to 10 % wt. of an SiH group-including compound that bears at least two of SiH groups as a crosslinking agent wherein at least one face of the mandrel 1 is formed with the rubber composition having the adhesion strength between different kinds of rubbers of less than 10N/cm.
