PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bay window easy in assembling and providing easy finishing of a natural lighting part of a roof, and capable of combining a bay window body and the roof. SOLUTION: The bay window body 3 installed in a building frame 2, and the roof 4 arranged in an upper part of the bay window body 3, are separately formed. The bay window body 3 has left-right vertical frames 6, left-right mullions 7, a side surface upper frame 8 and a side surface lower frame 9 installed between these vertical frames 6 and mullions 7, a front upper frame 10 and a front lower frame 11 installed between the left-right mullions 7. The roof 4 has a front upper frame 25 connected on a front upper frame 10 of the bay window body 3, an upper frame 26 with a wall installed in the building frame 2, a side surface upper frame 27 installed between end parts of these front upper frame 25 and upper frame 26 with a wall, and a natural lighting part 5 arranged in an opening partitioned by the front upper frame 25, the upper frame 26 with a wall and the side surface upper frame 27. The natural lighting part 5 is formed by inserting a bead 39 into clearance between a natural lighting panel 38 and a groove 37 by fitting the natural lighting panel 38 in the groove 37 formed in a peripheral edge part of the opening.
