Method for determination of maximal braking power of anti-lock braking system, using extreme local data

A set braking slip level is determined using the adaptive curve of friction forces and the braking slip at the individual wheel of a vehicle. In a first step a number of straight lines is created by estimation from a number of matched pairs of data. In a second step an optimal braking slip is determined using the level of inclination of the resulting line. This again is used for determining a set braking slip for a particular wheel.
