PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize diversification and multiplication of function of an input means to improve operability, in a computer device. SOLUTION: In an information terminal having a structure with a keyboard attached thereto, pointing operation along with keyboard input is enabled without moving a palm by adding a keyboard comprising keys each formed by attaching a contact detection sensor to a key top. By installing a touch detection means composed by continuously distributing and arranging, at equal intervals or nonuniformly, touch detection sensors on a linear, flat curve-shaped or space curve-shaped track, and a click switch means in a portable information terminal such as a PDA (personal digital assist), a PC card type information terminal, an IC card type information terminal or an IC card of a credit card size, capacitive input and input of a contact event are enabled by finger touch.
