<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support apparatus for determining whether the operation procedures are correct or not before the operator conducts the operation and accurately identifying the actions of the operator. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a stereo camera 10 capturing a plurality of photographed images; an operator three-dimensional position calculating means 21 calculating the three-dimensional position of the operator; an operator attitude recognizing means 22 recognizing at least any one of an attitude, a position and a moving direction of the operator; a facility information storage means 26 for storing arrangement data of facility equipment in an operation area and operation procedure data to be conducted by the operator; an operation content predicting means predicting an operation content intended to be conducted by the operator, based on the arrangement data and the attitude, position and moving direction of the operator; an operation procedure correct/incorrect determining means 24 collating the predicted operation content with the operation procedure data to determine whether the operation procedures of the operator are correct or not; and an operation procedure teaching means 25 notifying operation instructions to the operator in accordance with the determination result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
