FIELD: lubricants. ^ SUBSTANCE: instrumental oil suitable, in particular, for use in clockworks at temperatures between 75 and 200°C, is composed of (i) 50-95% of modified linear or branched oligoethylsiloxane of general formula: A[(C2H5)SiO]m[(CH3)2SiO]n[CH3C6H3Cl2SiO]l[R1C8H17SiO]k[R2R3R4SiO0.5]b, where A represents O, CH3SiO1.5, C2H5SiO1.5, or Si(O0.5)4; m+n=0-24; l=0-2; k=0-32; b=2-4; R1 is methyl or ethyl; R2 hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl; and R3 = R4 are methyl or ethyl; and (ii) 5-50% of synthetic additive: dimethylmethyltienylsiloxane or mineral oil. ^ EFFECT: improved lubrication characteristics under elevated contact loadings in friction zone at the same freezing temperature (below -80°C). ^ 7 ex
