PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program for performance analysis and a recording medium for enabling even a program which does not designate any option for performance measurement such as a system library or a routine in execution to execute performance analysis. SOLUTION: In the compile process of a user program, while there is not any source file at the time of preparing a program, and the performance analysis of a sub-routine or function which is not the target of performance analysis is executed on the main body side of a program under preparation in a conventional manner, a CALL sentence to call a performance analysis start routine just after the calling of a sub-routine or function and a CALL sentence to call a performance analysis end route just before the end of the sub-routine or function is embedded. Thus, it is possible to directly execute performance measurement in the loop of the sub-routine or function, and to execute the performance analysis of any sub-routine or function which is not compile-designated by designating an option for performance analysis such as a system library or routine in execution which has not been analyzable by the conventional performance analysis program.
