摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus which makes it possible to quantitatively recognize the pull-out resistance of an insertion auxiliary tool or an overtube and an insertion part. SOLUTION: For an endoscope, a strain gauge 80 for measuring the pull-out force of the insertion part 12 is attached to a prescribed position of the insertion part 12. Also, a strain gauge 82 for measuring the pull-out force of a tube main body 51 is attached to a prescribed position of the tube main body 51 of the overtube 50. The strain gauges 80 and 82 output fine strains generated in the insertion part 12 and the tube main body 51 to the microcomputer 98 of a controller 100 as electric signals. The micrcomputer 98 displays electric resistance values corresponding to the pull-out force of the insertion part 12 and the pull-out force of the tube main body 51 at an LCD display part 92 on the basis of the electric signals outputted from the strain gauges 80 and 82.
