One end of the member receives a flexible or printed circuit and the side walls are forced on to the circuit to grip it and pierce its insulation. The member may have a stop (6, Figs. 3 and 6, not shown) to locate the circuit and a portion (8) pushed out of the base to hold the circuit. In one embodiment (Fig. 9, not shown) the side walls are serrated, whilst in another (Fig. 10, not shown) a V-formation of teeth (12) is punched out of the base to hold the circuit. The other end of the member receives at least one connector.
