Medical device for use in conjunction with magnetic resonance imaging methods is inserted for diagnostic and or therapeutic purposes during the imaging processes. To reduce the negative effects of the magnetic field it is largely made of non-magnetic material. However to improve its detection and imaging it has a magnetic or magnetizable region.
