<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip member for a hand piece for a surgical operation operable even if tubes are blocked up by a sucking substance, by forming a boiling chamber into a self-contained system. <P>SOLUTION: This tip member has at least two conductive tubes 12 and 14 arranged at an interval. The tubes are separated by an insulator 16. The inside of the inner tube 12 is used for sucking a liquefied tissue. The outer tube 14 is surrounded by a soft perfusion sleeve 19 forming a perfusion passage 41. The end of the tube 12 is terminated inside the tube 14 for forming a boiling area 18. An operation liquid from the perfusion passage 41 can flow in the boiling area 18 via a port 43 in the tube 14. An electric current is carried between the tube 12 and the tube 14 for quickly boiling the operation liquid in the boiling area 18. The boiled liquid quickly expands outside a ring between the tube ends, and a high heat liquid is made to contact with a target tissue, and as a result of it, the tissue can be liquefied and sucked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
