<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly light-resistant inkjet recording medium which produces an image giving a feel of uniform gloss throughout the blank part and the image part when the medium is printed in a pigmented ink; also an image showing high scuff resistance so that a scuff appears less conspicuous even when it is inflicted, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording medium having a surface layer which contains at least an inorganic fine particle and a binder on a support, the average index of refraction of the inorganic fine particle is 1.9 to 2.9 and the inorganic fine particle, with high index of refraction, which is coated with silica or alumina, is added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
