摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter that suppresses a surge current and achieves less loss and low noise with a simpler structure in a step-up or step-down DC-DC converter. SOLUTION: This DC-DC converter outputs an inputted DC power by stepping it up and/or stepping it down. A second coil L2 is provided between a flywheel diode D2 and a main switching element Q1 and connected in series to those components. It is configured to provide a bypass circuit 15 provided with a second switching element Q2 and a second capacitor C2 that constitute a resonance circuit with the second coil L2, when the main switching element Q1 is off. This structure makes a current flowing in the second coil L2 hardly vary instantaneously so that the surge current caused by the reverse recovery of the flywheel diode D2 can be suppressed. Also, the energy of the second coil L2 can be regenerated with the second switching element Q2 and the capacitor C2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
