<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protection film free from light escaping in a heat test and discoloration in a humidity test, also free from the occurrence of a crack after an endurance test, and having high durability, and to provide a polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin film having a ratio (B)/(A)≥0.6 when assuming that tensile strength based on JIS K 7127 before and after a constant load tensile test defined as follows is (A) and (B), respectively, and having a haze value ≤5% is used as the polarizer protection film. The constant load tensile test is a test applying 9.8N constant load to the length direction of a test piece having 20mm width for 24 hours under a 23°C-50% RH condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
