PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing float with which a strike is finely grasped by changing the color tone of the inside of the hollow cylindrical pipe of a fishing float and a float is simply connected to a fishing line. SOLUTION: The fishing float has constitution that a float buoyancy keeping main body 100 has resistance by underwater drawing of a fishing float, confirmation of a strike or drop of bait is obtained by change of color tone caused by the fact that a float inner tube 4 is moved in the inside of a float outer tube 3, the graduation 4b of the inner tube 4 is slid on a gap between it and the line graduation 3b of the outer pipe 3. A bait fall gage 1 is arranged on the top of the outer tube 3, the inner tube top 4h of the inner tube 4 notifies an angler about an underwater fishing bait state by the rise and fall of the graduation 1b of the gage 1 by the weight of the fishing bait.
