<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer which can print data to a label by a format nearly equal to a format displayed at a display of a computer also in a place where the computer cannot be connected to the label printer, and which can develop and print data at a high speed to a label in a place where a computer can be connected to the label printer. <P>SOLUTION: A first editing application is set in the label printer 1, which develops the data to the format nearly equal to the format displayed at the display 3 of the computer 2 and prints the data to the label L even if the computer 2 is not connected to the label printer 1. At the time when the computer 2 is connected to the label printer 1, a second editing application set in the computer 2 is used. On the other hand, when the computer 2 is not connected to the label printer 1, the first editing application is used, and the data is developed to the format nearly equal to that displayed at the display 3 of the computer 2 and is printed to the label L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
