<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing case for a tape cassette of which a lid and a storing part can be locked together easily. <P>SOLUTION: The storing case comprises the storing part 11 which stores the tape cassette 50, the lid 12 which has outside plates that enclose peripheral plates 20 of the storing part 11, a hinge plate part 16 which couples the storing part 11 and the lid 12 in an openable/closable manner, locking parts 32 formed on the inner surface of the outside plate 13 of the lid 12, and engaging parts 31 which are formed on the outer surface of the peripheral plate 20 of the storing part 11 to be engaged with the locking parts 32.
