PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a cooling efficiency by efficiently transmitting the cool heat of a refrigerant gas sucked into a housing in an electric compressor. SOLUTION: A control housing 14 is fixed to the upper part of the body housing 11 storing a compression part 12 and an electric motor 13, a refrigerant anchoring chamber 28 and a control chamber 29 are formed in the control housing 14, and an intake tube 30 is connected to one end part of the refrigerant anchoring chamber 28. A communication tube 56 communicating with a low pressure chamber 31 through the control chamber 29 is connected to the other end part.
