<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of image quality by preventing partial deformation of a developer carrier caused by biting of a developer supply member into the developer carrier, thereby stabilizing the amount of developer attached to the surface of the developer carrier and the amount of electrostatic charges of the developer, in a development apparatus that supplies developer to the surface of the developer carrier by the use of the developer supply member whose surface part is elastic. <P>SOLUTION: A toner supply brush 3 for supplying developer to a developing roller 1 which develops an electrostatic latent image on a photoreceptor drum is disposed so as to come into contact with or come apart from the developing roller 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
