<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device of manufacturing a bolus for radiation therapy, capable of significantly reducing radioactive wastes and reducing the time for the set-up. <P>SOLUTION: A polyethylene ball 54 and air 60 are enclosed in a vinyl container 56 with a deformable vinyl cover 63, and after that, the vinyl container 56 is pressed from outside by a presser pin 71 of a molding device 55 to mold the container in the shape corresponding to an affected part of a subject of therapy. Then, air 60 inside the vinyl container 56 in the pressed state is discharged by using a vacuum pump 65 and a solenoid valve 67 is closed after the discharge.
