PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle lock for effectively improving burglarproof properties against unlawful unlocking operation without depending only on improvement in the strength, etc. SOLUTION: The handle lock is structured in a manner that a handle 3 is engaged with a handle engaging recess 2 formed in the handle case 1 in a position of being housed in the handle case 1, by which rotational operation in relation to the handle case 1 is prohibited, and that the lock part 5 is locked/unlocked by a handle body 4 by its rotational operation in a position of being pulled out of the handle case 1. The handle lock has a cylinder lock 6 which is fitted to the handle body 4 not to be idly turnable and keeps the handle body 4 in the housed position not to be releasable. A fitting part 8 is formed in the handle case 1 so that a projection 7 projecting toward the handle case 1 is fitted into it by forcible idle-turning operation of the cylinder lock 6, by which a movement of the handle body 4 in the direction of being pulled out may be restricted.
