The invention relates to a method for operating an active chassis system. According to the invention, a nominal yaw rate is determined in a control unit (12), based on information from a unit that is located in the vehicle and that determines the course of the carriageway and the vertical forces of the wheels are adjusted based on the nominal yawing rate.
