The assembly has a differential support acting as a case in which oil is circulated for lubricating shafts guided in rotation by bearings and lubricating couplings driving the shafts, and having a front opening. A front plate (8) closes the opening and has an orifice (16) opening towards an outer side (14) of the plate. An oil pump (9) is connected at the outer side and penetrates through the orifice towards the inside of the assembly.
