PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible tube for an endoscope having appropriate flexibility (bendability) and excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance and wear resistance, and an endoscope provided with the flexible tube for the endoscope. SOLUTION: An insertion part flexible tube (flexible tube for the endoscope) 1 is provided with a tubular core material 2 and a jacket 3 coated on the outer periphery of the core material 2. The jacket 3 is constituted of a layered body having at least two layers. The layered body is provided with an inner layer (first layer) 31 constituted of a material containing a polyolefin based thermoplastic elastomer or a styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene block copolymer as a main material and an outermost layer (second layer) 32 constituted of a material containing polymethylpentene as a main material.
