The second spring clip connector (6) is integral with the conductor strip (2) at one end. At the other end a sidewall is bent up at right angles to the strip, forming a contact limb (20). Another sidewall is bent up opposite the first. A section of this is parted from the strip, forming a leaf spring (22) at an acute angle (alpha ) to an insertion direction. One edge of the leaf spring is biased into contact with the opposite wall (20). A connection box employing the clip, with bypass diodes between adjacent contacts, is also described.
