PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt cooler device capable of positively preventing liquid on the surface of an upper belt from dripping on a lower belt. SOLUTION: This belt cooler device 1 for cooling a food material M while conveying the food material M in a state of being held from the upper and lower sides, has an upper belt 32 having inclined parts 46, 50, 52 and reservoir parts 48, 54 continuous with the inclined parts; a lower belt 12 for holding the food material M together with the upper belt 32; liquid feeding means 110, 148, 150 for feeding liquid to the inclined parts 46, 50, 52 and/or reservoir parts 48, 54; partition means 78, 80 provided over the whole periphery of the upper belt 32 so that the fed liquid does not flow out of both side parts of the upper belt 32; suction ports 122 facing the reservoir parts 48, 54; and diaphragm pump means 118, 158 for sucking the fed liquid from the suction ports 122.
