<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of performing an image correction having no sense of incompatibility on the bloodshot portion of a subject without commiting it to a professional technique using an exclusive image processing tool or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This image correcting device is provided with: a bloodshot region specifying means which specifies a bloodshot region recognized as the bloodshot white portion of the eye of an subject from an inputted image; a table storing means which stores a table where the values of the color components of the non-bloodshot white portion of the eye of the object are associated; and a correction means which acquires the values of the predetermined color components of respective pixels in the bloodshot region, and acquires the values of the other color components associated with the values of the color components in the table, and rewrites the color information of the pixels by using the acquired values of the other color components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
