PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a heat exchanger for a hygienic flushing device. SOLUTION: The hygienic flushing device is provided with a flow rate adjusting means 31 letting water flow to the heat exchanger 35 in a higher flow rate than that at the time when washing a human body. By letting a large volume of water flow than that at the time when washing a human body, shocks by water streams are given to scale generated in the heat exchanger 35 to make it possible to peel the scale, reduce scale adhesion, and prolong the durability of the hygienic flushing device.
