PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator for a water level gage capable of illuminating a visible groove of a gage main body with uniform brightness, while restraining a light source from being heated. SOLUTION: The water level gage having constitution of sandwiching the gage main body 1 and transmission type gage glasses 3a, 3b with water level gage covers 4a, 4b and fixing them with a bolt 5 and a nut 6, after arranging the two sheets of transmission type gage glasses 3a, 3b on both faces of the gage main body 1, is illuminated by the illuminator 7 arranged on an extended line of the visible groove of the main body 1. An LED stick 12 arranged with a plurality of LEDs on one line with an equal interval is used as a coloration light source for the illuminator 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
