<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver circuit which can perform precharging even with a precharging power source of a relatively low driving capability and can sufficiently precharge a signal supply line of a display device. <P>SOLUTION: An input side of a data signal line (SLn) and a switch P-ASWn (n=1, 2) for controlling the precharging for the selected pixel connected thereto is provided with a NOR circuit NORn and the signals SSP, DSR 1 and SRn for instructing the precharging to the other data signal line SLn are inputted from a shift register 31a while the supply of a video signal VIDEO to a part of the data signal lines SLn is performed and a simultaneous precharge instruction signal PCTL for instructing the respective data signal lines SLn to simultaneously perform the precharging is inputted from the outside to the NOR circuit NORn. As a result, the precharging is performed in both of the period while the supply of the video signal VIDEO to the data signal lines SLn is performed and the period while the supply of the video signal VIDEO is not performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
