<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver circuit which can perform precharging even with a precharging power source of a relatively low driving capability and can sufficiently precharge a signal supply line of a display device. <P>SOLUTION: An input side of a data signal line (SLn) and a switch P-ASWn (n=1, 2) for controlling the precharging for the selected pixel connected thereto is provided with a NOR circuit NORn and the signals SSP, DSR 1 and SRn for instructing the precharging to the other data signal line SLn are inputted from a shift register 31a while the supply of a video signal VIDEO to a part of the data signal lines SLn is performed and a simultaneous precharge instruction signal PCTL for instructing the respective data signal lines SLn to simultaneously perform the precharging is inputted from the outside to the NOR circuit NORn.
