<p>A polymerase chain reaction assembly comprises a flow-regulation valve (1), where the valve has a valve chamber (3) within a housing (2) and inlet (7) for incoming fluid medium (L), the housing has an outlet (8) for a fluid fraction (L1) and a second outlet (9) for a second fraction (L2), and the chamber has a valve piston (4) that slides along an axis (6) with an internal position sensor (11). The sliding valve position moves between a first position in which the first outlet is almost completely closed and a second position in which the second outlet is almost completely closed.
