CONTAINER PLUG AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container plug surely capable of preventing adverse influences of penetration of various kinds of smells from the outside of a container and absorption/adsorption of flavor of contents as well as adverse influences from a core of a cork or the like, and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The container plug having a liquid contacting surface F1 and an outer peripheral surface F2 of the core 1 coated with a coating film and its manufacturing method are provided. The container plug includes the polyester-based coating film 2 stuck to the core 1 via a polyethylene-based adhesive layer 3, whose thickness ranges 80 to 300 μm at the center site of the liquid contacting surface F1, 70 to 100 μm at a site on the outer peripheral surface F2 close to the liquid contacting surface, and 30 μm or more over the entire liquid contacting surface F1. The manufacturing method includes the steps of using a polyethylene-based film on which a part corresponding to the liquid contacting surface F1 is thicker than other parts as the adhesive layer 3 for sticking the polyester-based film to the core 1, stretching the polyester-based film by pressure-fitting the core 1 in a heated state, and sticking the polyester-based film to the core 1 via the polyethylene-based film.
