<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a pigment dispersion that contains a polyurethane resin and has excellent discharge stability and storage stability and sufficient glossiness and abrading resistance, and to obtain an ink composition comprising the pigment dispersion. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion comprises at least pigment, a polyurethane resin and 1,2-hexanediol and is obtained by heat-treating the pigment dispersion until substantially no viscosity change of the pigment dispersion occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
