PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutting device excellent in durability without deteriorating shearing quality of a sheet. SOLUTION: This sheet cutting device is constituted of a cutter fixed blade formed straight in the longitudinal direction, a cutter movable blade to cut the sheet by travelling while rotating by making contact with the cutter fixed blade, a movable blade pressurizing member to energize the cutter movable blade to pressurize it on the cutter fixed blade, a movable blade carrier to hold the cutter movable blade, a movable blade shaft to axially support the cutter movable blade on the movable blade carrier free to rotate and a movable blade driving means to drive the movable blade carrier so that it reciprocally travels along the longitudinal direction of the cutter fixed blade, the movable blade pressurizing member is a compression coil spring and a metallic washer is interposed at least on one end surface of the compression coil spring.
