PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that because in harvesting operation by a conventional combine harvester, a target yield is not set based on the processing capability of a drier, a drier of post-processing is not used, harvested grain is left allowed to stand in an unhulled rice as it is until the following day or for several days and the flavor of the rice falls. SOLUTION: In the method for harvesting operation by a combine harvester, a time for unloading grain from a grain tank 1 is measured, the total yield of harvested grain is calculated based on the integrated value of measuring time and a grain amount unloaded per unit time, the total yield is contrasted with a preset target yield and operation is completed when the total yield reaches the target yield.
