PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination apparatus in which dimensional change of a light translucent panel due to heat is surely suppressed. SOLUTION: The illumination apparatus 1 is constituted of the main body 2 and a light translucent panel 3, and when the light translucent panel 3 is mounted on the main body 2, by means that the light translucent panel 3 is connected to the opening part 20a of the main body 2 from downward and that upward pushing pressure is added to the light translucent panel 3, locking claws 6a to 6b installed at the light translucent panel 3 are respectively locked at slit holes 5a to 5e installed at the main body 2, and the light translucent panel 3 is retained at the main body 2.
