PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity input guidance device for an automatic vending machine, wherein usability is improved by making change work of a passage width in a commodity input port an intuitively easy-to-understand operation system. SOLUTION: This commodity input guidance device has: a first passage width change operation means I changing the passage width W between one movable guide side plate 4B and the other fixed guide side plate 2 by selectively engaging and holding the movable guide side plate 4B in a plurality of positions in a passage width direction; a second guide plate 4C further changing a minimum passage width set by the movable guide side plate 4B into a plurality of passage widths W; and a second passage width change operation means J selectively engaging and holding the second guide plate 4C in a plurality of positions in the passage width direction.
