The method comprises the step of receiving a message from a mobile equipment application by a smartcard application (Z'), using a first protocol, whereby each message comprises a header field and a data field, the header field comprises a specific pattern for identifying messages belonging to a second protocol (Z) and the smartcard application (Z') decides (4.3) for the received message, based on the specific pattern, whether the message belongs to the second protocol (Z) or not.
