FIELD: dust collection; chemical, textile, food-processing, light and other industries for cleaning dust-laden gases. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed cyclone has housing, peripheral inlet for gas flow made in form of inlet branch pipe, helical cover, bin and exhaust pipe for escape of cleaned gas. Gas flow peripheral inlet is made in form of inlet branch pipe whose axis is directed at angle relative to axis of housing and tangentially relative to surface of outlet branch pipe. Located at the top of cylindrical housing is helical cover; volute with filter element is secured on one end of cleaned gas outlet branch pipe. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability; reduced usage of metals; reduction of vibro-acoustic activity of apparatus. ^ 12 cl, 2 dwg |
