PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification apparatus which is capable of suppressing deterioration of an audio signal, and an acoustic system comprising the amplification apparatus. SOLUTION: There are provided a first amplifier 13 which has a first acoustic gain, amplifies an analog audio signal in accordance with the first acoustic gain and is capable of changing the first acoustic gain; a converter 14 for converting the analog audio signal into a digital audio signal; a second amplifier 15 which has a second acoustic gain, amplifies the digital audio signal converted by the converter 14 in accordance with the second acoustic gain and is capable of changing the second acoustic gain; and a controller 16 which performs control to change the second acoustic gain in response to a change of the first acoustic gain and to keep constant a synthetic gain of the first acoustic gain and the second acoustic gain.
