DUST-PROTECTIVE MEMBER CLEANING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust-protective member cleaning device capable of saving space and cleaning dust-protective glass even during an image forming operation.

SOLUTION: The dust-protective glass cleaning device cleans the dust-protective glass 9Y disposed in an image forming apparatus such as a printer. Equally spaced twenty transparent electrodes 31Y to 50Y are arranged in a row on the surface of the dust-protective glass 9Y which is disposed in a light path between a print head and a photosensitive drum. When predetermined alternating currents are applied to the transparent electrodes, a progressive wave magnetic field is generated.
