<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system by which a private network user can selectively utilize a private network data service or a public network data service in a wireless terminal and a data service can be recieved via a private network by changing a system without changing a terminal of each user. <P>SOLUTION: The method for providing the data service in an environment, where a public network and a private network interwork, includes: a first step for transmitting, by a user terminal, a data service request signal; a second step for determining, by the private network, based on identifier information, through which of the private and public networks to transmit the data service; a third step for transmitting a private network data service call to a private content server if it is determined based on the identifier information that it is the private network data service call; and a fourth step for transmitting a public network data service call to a public network content server if it is determined based on the identifier information that it is the public network data service call. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
