发明名称 METHOD FOR MEASURING UNDERWATER ACOUSTIC VELOCITY IN BURIED CONDUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To grasp exactly the position of water leak by giving oscillation to a buried conduit by an oscillation generator and measuring a delay time with a correlative delay time measurer. CONSTITUTION:The signal from an oscillation generator 10 which is acquired by a pickup 8 is amplified by a preamplifier 6 and is transmitted to a device body 5 by radio, and the signal from the generator 10 is amplified by a preamplifier 7 and is transmitted to the device body 5 by radio, and a correlative waveform and a delay time are displayed on a correlative delay time measurer 4. The delay time is read on the measurer 4, and the distance between points A and B in a water conduit is divided by this delay time to obtain an underwater acoustic velocity (V). If there is the position of water leak in the water conduit between points A and B, a distance X from the point A to the position of water leak is obtained on a basis of said underwater acoustic velocity V by X={L- (VXTd)}/2 where Td is the delay time read on the measurer 4 and L is the distance between points A and B; and thus, the position of water leak is grasped exactly.
