PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher wherein inclusion of soil and small stone in a small amount does not significantly influence the quality and production quantity of a crushed matter and machine maintenance cost can be kept low by elongating the replacement interval of crushing edges. SOLUTION: The crusher has a basic form of a single axis driven type combination mill stone and is provided with the crushing edges made of artificial stone. There are 2 types of production material for the crusher; one is made by crushing crushing lava, granite, sandstone, porphyry, basalt, volcanic rock, and the like to a grain size of approximately 18 to 6 meshes, classifying them according to sizes and setting the mesh numbers of the edges of the mill according to the classification and kneading them with a binder such as cement, and the other is made by crushing brittle stone represented by pumice to a uniform size and mixing it with a binder in the same way. The former material is used as a raw material for a main body and the latter material is used as a raw material for a groove. The strength of the groove is made lower than that of the main body so that the progress of attrition in the groove at the time of crushing is more rapid than that in the main body. The groove is automatically secured by friction and attrition upon discharge of raw materials. The granular stone materials are exposed at each crushing by attrition of the above binder composing milling and mixing surfaces of the main body. Accordingly, the combination mill stone made of artificial stone and the crusher using the mill stone are provided, which enable to keep the roughness of stone materials of the milling and mixing surfaces to the application limit and require no setting.
