PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cold container effectively avoiding falling of condensed water from a stored cold accumulating material on a stored article (a commodity) only by adding a simple change to the cold service thermal insulating container comprising conventional container main body and lid, and the freely removably fitted cold accumulating material. SOLUTION: The container main body 10 forms a cutout part 20 on its inner peripheral face, and an inclined face 22 is provided on the cutout part 20. The cold accumulating material 1 is fitted on the container main body 10 by placing a projected stripe part 6 of the cold accumulating material 1 on the inclined face 22 of the cutout part 20. The fitted cold accumulating material 1 has an inclined posture, and the condensate reaches the side wall face of the container main body 10 along the inclination and falls down therefrom along the inner face of the side wall.
